Meet Sadaf!

Salam and welcome!

I am Sadaf. A mother trying to teach Islamic values and culture to my children. A few years ago, more precisely during COVID era, when my children were studying from home, I saw that all their books, even those that taught them about Islam and its values were written by non-Muslim authors. Nothing wrong in that, but why should my children and other Muslim children learn about our culture and religion from others. Why not us?

Sadaf Noman

There came the idea of Sabiqoun. To take the lead and teach our children about our beautiful religion and culture through the words of our own Muslim authors.

What began as a single bookshelf has now grown into four beautiful collections:

  1. Picture books that nurture imagination
  2. Religious reads that deepen faith
  3. Novels that give voice to our stories
  4. Chapter books that take readers on exciting, meaningful adventures.

Our vision at Sabiqoun books is to give Muslim authors their due recognition and the encouragement of new Muslim writers.

Since then, Sabiqoun books has helped hundreds and thousands of parents to teach Islam and Muslim culture to their children.

What does the founder's son has to say about his favourite book?

He says:

Zara and Zeeshan fight like real siblings. But when they fight a sick turtle, they must stop arguing and work together. It made me think that "Even the people who annoy us most can become our greatest teammates"
